It all started as a dream before we even got married, with a simple mission and as a solution to a global issue: the gradual extinction of a people's folkways. 

As a young couple living everyday the poverty of our country, we decided we have to do something to change the reality in Ecuador. We knew we have been born into privilege, creating even more responsibility towards giving back to our people. 

We founded Shuar Company in November 2015 with all of our savings, after leaving our promising careers in banking (Gaby) and insurance (Matias) to embark in this wonderful world of humility.

This is our legacy to our world, to our children and we hope to inspire everyday more people to change, to get out of their confort zone and give back to this world more than they take.
